  • Review of "Timberlake Apartments - Red Oak Apartment Home" at Laconia

    Living here is "So-so", honestly some of the people who live here are amazing. While other tenant's maybe little racist and can possibly cause you to feel a little uneasy. There is a nice little park on-sight for the children to play in, and plenty of activities in the area to keep oneself busy. On the other hand, there is absolutely no security here at Timber Lakes/Red Oak Apartments. There are no security camera's set-up what so ever throughout the property. Which has lead to vandalism & multiple packages of mail being stolen over the course of several months. Timber Lakes/Red Oak Apartments also has an on-sight laundry room for the tenants, which also have no security which had lead to on occasion theft of my clothing. On the plus side the on-site property manager Megan, is absolutely amazing and is one of the nicest and down to earth person I have ever met. Over all I can honestly say that timber lakes isn't the worst place that I have lived. But it also isn't standing out much compared to the other properties in the area.

    I have been using the Liberty Tax Service in Laconia since they have opened. I have had nothing but good luck with them and I always feel that I get what I am owed. They take the stress out of tax time for me because they do all the work. It is nice to know that I have people on my side that know what they are doing and that I can hand over my information to them and am certain that the work that is done will be done right and be done in a timely manor. I would recommend this tax service to family friends and anyone else that asks.

    Great family fun! Also nice for a couple's dinner cruise. The dinner isn't the greatest but I don't think anyone really expects it to be. I'd have given five stars but even the cheapest ticket is too costly for many families. I understand it's a very short season in NH so I don't blame them, just wish they had a cheapie early morning rate or something like that.
